I'm a Product Manager

In product, empathy and curiosity are the most important things.

Everything else stems from those two.

With experience in companies large & small, working for internal & external customers, B2C & B2B markets, and products ranging from data/ML to SaaS to e-commerce marketplaces, I've seen a lot. Through it all my favorite thing to do is align the whole team around doing the right thing for the customer.

I also bake a pretty good sourdough. 🍞

DON'T Take mY word for it

John's focus and dedication serve as a model for other teams coming on board and he continues to seek improvement opportunities to create a more efficient workflow.

My favorite quality about working with John is his ability to constantly be thinking about the next problem we needed to solve for our customers… Knowing that he is always thinking about the next problem we needed to solve resulted in all of us implementing the same mindset. It was contagious in the best way possible!

Without hesitation, I can say that John is a prime example of what a team player should be - proactive, dependable, and collaborative.

Occasional essays and thoughts, on the Internet, as the spirit moves me.

On Imposter Syndrome

Imposter syndrome is a feeling, not a fact. You're not an imposter, you just feel like one.

Just about everyone feels like one.

You do not need
product management
experience to be
a product manager

You do need 2 things:
- Empathy
- Curiosity
